Art is Dead Productions

I started Art is Dead Productions in 2021 because i didn’t start it in 2014. Growing up I made silly little videos with different groups of friends. My favorite ones were Behind the Scenes documentaries of what happens backstage during a school play. All of those videos are COMPLETELY unwatchable except to the ten or so people who were in them, and even most of them would cringe at what we were like back then.

In high school I wrote constantly, I never filmed or really showed anyone those scripts because I didn’t think they were good enough. I kept writing and still didn’t share them for a long time because they were just for me and I would say, “One day I’ll make these when they’re good enough.” After awhile I wondered when one day would be.

I decided to get anyone I could together and finally make them. Art is Dead Productions in its first year of work produced fifty-two comedy sketches in fifty-two weeks straight, no breaks. A lot of them are really good.

The message of Art is Dead is to tell others to stop waiting for the perfect piece, to go out and fail, but make sure you learn. The next piece will be better. If you like these down below check out the Art is Dead Productions website and YouTube channel to see all of them. Maybe even follow us on Instagram. The comedy sketches keep coming out, and there are films and live productions on the way.
